...sadly, a typical stock frame late 70's-80's GM truck frame. There's not enough material between the bed and cab + age/rot/wear&tear = snap. Far too many big built-up trucks that are still relying on stock, un-braced frames.

A lot has been said on trucksgonewild about this, apparently the chevy owner is a known member over there. Seems he and his buds are known for throwing a truck like that together in a day or two; obviously this video shows the results of doing so.

The guy got hurt pretty good, they have pics posted over there of him standing on top the wreckage. Thing was sitting on stock leaf springs w/ blocks and some water pipe traction bars; it's a wonder someone didn't die.
