Outlaw Drag Racing @ BMP 21st-23rd

We're headed up Thursday after work, be there all weekend. Going to get our butts kicked running OL10.5 w/ the mustang, but I'm gonna put it solidly into the 4's and possibly loosely into the diaper! - lol

Now that looks like a good time. I miss being around these cars in the worst way! I'll have to see if I can round up a babysitter :)

I just finished the back-brace on the 9" and re-mounted the coil-overs, plumbed the tunnel ram/spray, and swapping the rods in the short-block(didn't trust hitting the others any harder). - Realized this thing still has an 8260 "street" gear in it, trying to quickly scrounge up a 4.10 big pinion pro gear w/o breaking the bank.

We're gonna head up Friday for the test session and then play it by ear from there. Pending how the turn-out looks and how fast we can get a handle on this car will pend if/what class we go for. - I'm not dropping a $250 entry for 10.5 if we have no prayer of getting it back(low car count would nix our chances), so we may add some weight and run the 632 program.

:mad:mad:mad - didn't even get to go......was loading the car up Fri and had a brake issue which we couldn't correct in time for the test session. No point in wasting money w/o any data on the car, so we just stayed home.

Will be going to IMM this weekend, if their site will function I'll figure out which day.

I went up yesterday. Some great racing ! Not as crowed as some years but still good. Titan Motorsports ran a 4.20 with a inline 6 cylinder. Not the fastest car there but still very impressive for a 6 and the only import there.
