what is everyone planning to have done to their cars by years end? after i pay off a couple credit cards and an engagement ring, i'm going to be picking up....
set of headers
set of 1.9 rockers
3.2 modular pulley system (i have a 3.4 press on right now)
a more subtle spoiler than the stocker
tint my taillights
possibly lower the car
anyone else wasting a decent chunk of change on theirs? i know tragic is but he and i can't be the only ones.

Pistons and rods for the engine then turn up the boost a bit more
Tune the cams
Probably an oil cooler
Hard top, painted to match
Install my racing seats and harness'
Install my turbo timer
Replace the front bumper to improve airflow to the radiator, etc. and probably do a whole, subtle body kit at the same time

well... I dont rly have plans for my car because I currently dont have one. I am driving that SXT neon that I rented about a month ago.
But... I am thinking of buying one of those mini's... I was talking to BLKFLAT4 about it. I am thinking of buying that car, and doing a conversion on it to a B16. I am looking on the net right now and I am thinking about ordering the frame right now.
If I do get this car here is a list of plans that I have been making recently.
-Depending on the condition, Ill have it repainted to a IS300 Red and completely refurbished, and upholstered.
-Install a Rag top.
-Install 15 or 16 inch BBS or Rotas with Falken Enzies
-Drop it untill the wheel gap is gone.
-Install the B series Engine
-Install AC
-Install a quiet muffler
-Use it as a DD.
My brother ended up keeping the Hatch, and he is paying me little by little. So if he flakes out ill finish it with what I had previously planned.
-Install the B18, and turbo.
-Install the Omni suspension that I have laying around here (have to find it first)
-Purchase the Rotas circuit 10's
-Repipe the exaust with no cat, and with either the S2k or Mitsubishi V6 stock muffler
-Do a DC interior conversion
-Replace the hood with the stock white
-May be the JDM lip kit :whoknows:
-Sell it.
I think that this is all... Its either the civic or the mini that is going to get any attention from me. I cant afford to do both.:sadwave:

i think the mini would be an interesting project to do. i didn't even know the b16 swap was possible with that car until you mentioned it in BLKFLAT4's thread.

rear strut tower brace
short shifter

June 9th, 2006, 08:15 PM
plans for my 240....
Replacing plugs/wires/distrubitor
Fix oil leak (head gasket)
replace clutch slave cylinder
replace rack and pinion
replace brake master cylinder
front adj. tension rods
strut tower bars (front and back)
full exhaust
intake
relocate battery to hatch
paint job
new seats
new steering wheel
new sway bars
control arms
motor mounts
short shifter
new radiator/fan(s)
upgrading the brakes (possibly the z32 conversion, with 5 lug hubs)
new fuel pump
minor weight reductions
new tint
All I can think of right now :D
Not nessicarly in that order, but those are the things that I'd like to have done by the end of the year. I'm not planning on boosting or swapping the motor anytime soon, and I really don't need a whole lot of power to do what I want to do with the car for now.
Ultimate goal would be to supercharge the KA, sylvia front end, carbon fiber hood/hatch... but I'm more into fixing the things that need to be fixed on the car, then adding performace mods (engine) and upgrading the suspension.

Well as far as the Mini goes it will be a leisure car for now. I just want to enjoy it for a little while before we rip into it but I to am going to do a B series Vtec swap.
160-170 hp in a car that has a curb weight of 1300lbs. ought to be pretty interesting.
As far as the Subaru goes it has recently received a TBE and Tomorrow We are installing A new Turbo, Injectors, Fuel Pump and Uppipe.
Then I am done for a while.

More luxury options like AC, PS etc.
Brag Rights,
Keep going?

Why does everyone hate on Hondas so much? They make more power than any other manufacturers (almost) small displacement motors do. The S2000 makes more power without a turbo/sc out of a 2.0/2.2L than most manufacturers do from a turboed engine of that displacement.
Hell, my Honda K20Z makes more whp than an SR20DET stock for stock, more than a DSM 4G63, Mk3 Supra, or 3SGTE.
Now when mods come in to play thats a different story ::owned::

-keep the tires at proper inflation

my car is pretty much "done".
